Central to the publication by Isaac Azzopardi (Malta), Inês Figueiras (Portugal) and Béatrice Gosselin (Canada) is the designing of a system which then designs the book, removing and replacing as much of the normal decision making design process as possible. Inspired by the observation of repeating 'accidents' within the stories, the project constructs mechanisms - using code - to produce visual outcomes beyond the control of the team. Instructions are imputted but the results remain deliciously unpredictable.
